Australia 2009 Freelander 2 i6 HSE Auto Santorini Black
I can't believe I scratched her!!!

The other day, due to my lack of concentration whilst driving, I managed to rub the side of her against a lowly positioned sign post, and I loud screech I will never forget. Crying or Very sad

I ended up with a few thick scratch marks about 15cm (6 inchs) in length along the rear wheel arch. Some paint got scratched off.

Not finding it worthwhile repairing it professionally, does anyone know what's the best way to cover this up? Gladly I've never had the experience before.

I'll try to get some pics on here later.

Thanks!

Ouch indeed...
If you've bought the car for town driving, I understand your "pain" and sadness.
But if you've bought the car for off-road fun, like me, you'll get over soon... Very Happy
I have less than a year and I have already front bumper slightly bent, rear bumper chipped on several locations and the driver's door slightly crumpled in the middle.
Long live the insurance policy!...

I Do, Blame the wife Thumbs Up
Thats what I did when I reversed at speed in to her car, caving her drivers door right in and my back bumper corner caved in, "fancy F Censored ing parking there, right in my blind spot"-while i was reading a text Whistle
