just had my renewal

i got my renewal quote today I'm 22 with 5 years no claims as of 18th of march (touch wood) and the quote came in at £576 fully comp without protected no claims and 800 excess so i called them up and said i wasn't too happy and they have offered me protected no claims 400 excess and breakdown cover i thought that was pretty good considering my age and where i live what do you all think

Until you hit 25 or even 30, insurance will be high, a fact of life unfortunately. Mine cost me 260 pounds with a 100 excess, but then I am an old person, but not that old with a 30 year no claims.

A little trick with insurance you might try if you haven't already try putting someone you know (mum or dad say) who has a clean record regarding offences and claims and say over 40 as a named driver that should reduce your premium. Thumbs Up
