Only car I know that has two xenon bulbs is the Phaeton (less some supercars). BMW generally have bi xenon for dip (shutter down on full beam) with a normally an H7 halogen to assist. This is normally a reflector light, but some (x5 for example) use a projector type lens since it gives a more precise beam pattern.

It would be intersting to see how xenon only cars manage flasing of head lights. As halogens are good with flasing generally only halogens are activated during flash including the FL2. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

........I'm putting my house for sale soon and moving to Sweden. I think I'll advertise my house as "bi-curtained" and "bi-garage doored" - for when the curtains and garage door are partially or fully open....... |
