Clicking noise when the drivers mirror is unfolding

Hello to all from sunny Cyprus.

I own an HSE TD4 manual for 4 months now (from 8th of feb) that was built end of December (2006) and today I have noticed a strange clicking noise when the drivers mirror is unfolding.

Did somebody else expense this problem? Is there something that I can do to fix it? (Going back to the only dealer in Cyprus is at least 1 day without a car)?

My "S" has also developed this on and off lately. I think its from dirt and grit getting between the plastic where they fold in. Gave it a good powerwash yesterday and nothing since. Fingers crossed that is all it was.
