Just for peoples info. I've had a problem with the FL2. you put the key in, press the start button and although all the ignition lights come on, the car fails to start or even turn over. There is three electric type clicks coming from the front passenger area when it does this. It's an intermittant problem, sometimes putting the key in again solves it, sometimes not.

There are many theories why this is so from a flat battery, duff alternator to the addittion of mobile phone chargers and Satnavs.

However, after 10 days at the dealers, whom initially fobbed me off and I then kicked off big time, they finally got to the bottom of it helped by LR technical department. A faulty start button! Yes, that simple, but really annoying.
