I have some on a 90 and they scratched a bit easy so we fitted a blind kit from A1 motorstores to the FL2 and are happy with it.

I think window tints in general are absolute must...but that statement is not intended to start an argument, just my view (sorry for the pun).
We got ours fitted by a local specialist (who does all the local main dealers), search on google for your local, if you look at my gallery as NP says you can see the heating elements in the side/rear screen but it cuts down glare and apparently UV rays (keeps the car cooler in the sun - but in Yorkshire maybe not needed). About £180 from the 'B' pillar back, money well spent. Would I have it done on another car yes.

The Freely windows are tinted as standard, so the references to window tints (darker rear windows) that make our elegant Freely look like a van or a funeral car or a gangster vehicle or film star incognito vehicle should maybe be referred to blacked-out windows to avoid confusion to some foreign readers Embarassed Laughing 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Had mine done in Burton on Trent, (Executive Tints Ltd) following suggestions from Npinks and the job is superb. Mine were done in Limo which means you can see through the vehicle to other side but not to look in. Need to be careful when cleaning the inside of windows and watch the little horrors when they play with their toys. Thoroughly recommended though not as good as OEM at purchase. Ralph
