Warranty list is getting longer!!!!!!!!

So far on the list to tell the dealer is ...
B post wear caused by seat belt both sides
A funny noise when turning right on full lock (not the power ass. working hard)
Banging from detachable tow bar when towing
Feeling like its going to stall when braking to a stop with it in neutral
Bodykit rubbing from drivers when opened

Question i brought the towbar genuine from a dealer and fitted it myself would they fix the clunking noise as in previous posts??? because it is a genuine part thats at fault?

Is it time it went or am i being picky??!!

If the towbar is faulty and the fault in no way relates to the fitting then they will sort it out.

No, its just when towing it makes loud clonks when on bumpy roads. Makes you think the horse in the box will over take you!!! Mr. Green

The fact that you fitted it yourself it does not matter, the fault is the connection of the removable swan neck part locating into the fixed part on your car. It's a recognized fault and there is a fix by LR. They don't replace the whole assy, just the swan neck and the receiver. It's their error no question - get it back to a local dealer Thumbs Up

Sounds like these are all common 'faults' as mine suffers from 80% of them - not the right turn noise thankfully !

Another one for you to try is rusting locking wheel nuts.

Apparently there is also a new 'procedure' for tightening up the handbrake - so I was told last time I had mine tweaked - unsuccessfully! How difficult can it be - if I knew where the end of the cable was I would do it myself! Any ideas ? There's always a way forward!

What do I remove if no ashtray? Does that other plastic tray lift out somehow? There's always a way forward!

Anoying I know. I learnt the hard way with my previous car with a light scratch on my door, from a courtesy wash. Since then I have always refused or got the person booking in to put a note on the job card saying DO NOT COURTESY WASH OR VALET. For people who value their vehicle the only person allowed to wash their motor should be themselves. Actually.....perhaps a professional Detailer as well, as they seem to do a ggod job!
