Air Filter the same for I6 and Td4?

Does anybody know if the Air Filter is the same for the i6 engine and the Td4. My dealer is charging me USD$100 for it, and I am looking for it in the web. I found one at US$16.95 on roverparts.com but it doesn´t specify for which engine it is. Since that site is in the US I assume it is only for petrol engines, and my Freelander has a diesel engine. 2008 Freelander 2 Td4 HSE Buckingham Blue

Write me your VIN in PM and I'll look a number of your filter in a Microcat. My TD4 2008 Freelander has the filter LR005816. Do you mean it?

You will be able to change it yourself in 5 minutes.

Sorry for my wry English. I began to study it recently.
I'll be thankful for your corrections of my mistakes

My first Freelander 2 air inlet was behind the headlamp I know this as it was in my hand when I looked at it

this must be either have been missed of early production car or a later addition

does your microcat show parts for launch cars from 2006??? Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Also hate to mention this but the boys at the LR experience said the side vent is where the air enters the engine Whistle (Update - should have said 'where air is fed to the air filter')

Mine is an early car (Dec 2006) and it has the air feed from the side vents. All FL2's should be this way. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........
