DEALER FEEDBACK Thumbs Up

Our dealer "Kunzler & Sauber" (you may know of Sauber aka F1 motor racing) wrote and telephoned me this morning. The owner himself in fact, not an employee. He has spoken with LR Switzerland (not owned by Land Rover itself, but by a Swiss company "Emil Frey".) All the points I raised will be actioned to my complete satisfaction.

New alloys, adaptive lights fitted (in swiss spares warehouse stock), terracotta trimmed carpets to be made as none available in GB or CH, new terracotta door panel to be fitted (has to come from factory), and finally he stated that there are no alternative colours for the document holder at present, but, I could have a Range Rover black one if I wished however it is embossed with RR brand. On this last point I said "thanks, but not necessary".

He offered to come and collect our FL2 (90mls round trip) and leave us another LR vehicle of our choice (he currently has no FL2's) whilst the rectification work is concluded.

I'm happy.

Well I'm going to look into this - need to talk to a Saddler (they would have a heavy duty sewing machine) and a Tanner (they would have access to leather suppliers). I'd put up with a black leather document case, but something close to the Ipanema Sand Body or the Terracotta Leather Seats would be perfect Very Happy

And does anyone know how easy it is to get the "gaiters" off the gear & hand brake levers Question They'd be fantastic in the terracotta leather Idea

A worthless commentary devoid of substance.

True. However I believe that even the humblest object should if possible combine function and beauty.
