Tyres

I've just had two Wranglers for my commercial for £139 each fitted, not a bad price I thought.

Well just been on the Bay and Guy Salmon Wakefield are selling new 17 wheels and Wrangler tyres for £300 a set of 4.
My garage now has four new wheels and tyres ready for when needed.

To get the £300 price deal directly with them and not through Ebay, they will also have some 18's on offer for £500 per 4.

You guys in UK are unbelievably lucky. Just one genuine rim without a tyre here in Australia costs $750 (375 pounds). The tyre another $300. Big Cry

If it's any conciliation, i enquired about some yesterday, but they couldn't fit them 'til today, and I couldn't get to them today, and now they've all sold out. Big Cry This is at GS Wakefield. I shall persevere! Indus Silver

No, that's my job title Yawn Because of my job, I had to be north of the border today, thus preventing my presence in Wakefield. I am however, as a dilligent PM on the case with them, and other dealers.

Possibly. I was hoping not to go quite as far out of my way. GS Wakefield reckon they will have some more soon. I'm due the 30K service on Monday, amongst other items, so will ask GS Stockport if they can do similar deals.

Duckworths delivered mine still wrapped in original LR packaging, only took a half hour or so to change, although it helped that I had my mates trolley jack At work

Was hoping to collet them today and take them tyo our yard tomorrow, were they could have been fitted. Now feel Glaswegian lurgy coming on, so not only do I have no new wheels, but may not be going to the yard tomorrow either! Aah well!
PS just looked at Duckworths, and they still have 18's, though my jury is still out whether to swap to them. However
(refering to my other post and your reply(CG)) they also have clear side repeaters for a bargain £25.00.

Best post of the year!

Slightly off topic (hence my state of mind) but I've just seen Birmingham City lose to a team lower than Nuneaton Town

What do they 'need' to apply a forum discount? just mention the forum? or do you need to PM them
