So far I haven't seen any NAS Freelander 2s with a trailer hitch. I saw countless tow bars in the UK and Europe but they are built different than those in the USA. Unless I can get one imported from across the pond and make it work here in Texas.

Mine has a hitch, dealer installed. Some cutting was involved. I believe it is only a Clas II hitch as it is 1 1/4" square not the III or IV 2" Armchair Commando |

Mind if I ask how much it was? I'd rather have one with the 2" reciever and without cutting. I carry a gun because I can't carry a cop.

Sounds like you're talking about a 2008 LR2/Freelander 2. I actually recently installed a hitch on mine. Cost was $111 from amazon.
