Hello all - This is my first post!
My new Santorini Black FL2 (TD4 S Auto) will be with me in less than a month (apparently) and will be swapping my MY08 Zermatt Silver S Manual for it so will be on Freelander No.3. I have already purchased the black side vents from a certain on- line auction site as the silver ones really look like they stand out far too much. (Glad the current cars come with clear side repeaters)

I have also already purchased a new grille (LR003927) in black and have found the instructions and posts on this site really uesful! Thanks.

I am now a little worried, as the MY12 has a more boxy face will this new grille fit the current MY? CAn anyone comment if this was a little hasty?

Am planning a rear tailgate debadge as soon as I take delivery and also replacing the LR badges with the black and silver LR badges from the supercharged RR.

Has anyone debadged the bonnet?

Damn it! I thought as much - I guess I should have been more patient.

Just looked at the new on-line LR FL2 brochure and seen that the TD4 will come with the dark finish version of the new grill and so may look OK with the black paint. Grille will have to back on flea-bay - glad I got it at a reasonable price.

Will still replace green/gold badges front and rear with black/silver.

Have just seen posts about front bib spoilers for the MY12 (smaller ones) will definatley get these ordered & fitted as there is so much spray on my MY08 FL2 through puddles. Absolute bargan compared to the price of front/rear official mud flaps.

I have debadged my wifes new Polo with fishing line, AUTOGLYM tar remover and a bit of polish - took 2 minutes!

Has anyone got pics of a debadged front and rear FL2?

i thought they were, maybe not on base S model though

Just had a closer look at the online brochure and it does appear that thery are a standard fit on the new facelifted models - however it remains to be seen if they actually are on the S model as most of the cars pictured are of a higher spec.

I guess this is what you get for being too eager - still approx a month to go to delivery. Will call the dealer today to find out the latest.

My "S" had bib spoilers factory fitted. Notice however, that polish S spec FL's are much better equipped than british ones..

Nice picture (putting those bib spoilers to use eh?) That looks like the roads in the UK this morning.

Although my Polish is non-exsitent I can see from landrover.pl that you get 17" alloys, climate contol and (I think) electric mirrors - Not fair I say.

In here the entry model (16" alloys, manual A/C etc.) is called the E and S is more like GS in Britain.

Since MY10 I think the badges on the FL2 have been green and silver - part of a rebrand of the brand....if you like.

Not sure if I would take the Land Rover lettering off the front but thats just personal taste.
