The Toronto Star newspaper had a special 'Wheels: Best of 2009' section today (Oct. 19, 2009) .
The LR2 /Freelander 2 did not win it's category Best 2009 crossover/SUV ($35,000-$65,000) but it was recommended. The Range Rover was also mention in the Best 2009 prestige car (over $75,000) category. The categories were grouped by price range and are very broad. Normally the LR2 wouldn't be competing with a Toyota Sequoia which is a larger vehicle.
