That's different to the average car manufacturer isn't it? Are they coming from dealers?

Your average run of the mill recovery company covers the bedfordshire area, nothing special. Its the same company I think that respond to Police call outs locally.

The guy that looked at mine didn't know diddley squat about LandRovers beyond the knowledge level of a general garage mechanic. 58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

Have posted about this recently when I suffered a flat battery after being parked up at Glasgow Airport for a couple of days. Response time was amazing, less than 20 minutes and the guy who turned up (in LR Assist Disco 3) was the most knowlegable and helpful chap I've met in the LR service environment. Got me started in minutes but spent a little longer doing some diagnostics so I had evidence to take back to the dealer who has previsouly dismissed my claims of a faulty battery.

Shortly after the recovery I was sent an on line customer survey about the incident, I could not praise the guy highly enough, if only everyone I've met in LR service was a good and professional as he was. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

I have had to call em out twice and once got a guy in a LR assist van and the other time a young lad from local recovery company.

CG enterprises awarded the N.Yorks LRA assist contract

Please unsure your stricken vehicle can be repaired with a big hammer and a pair of mole grips, otherwise a £200 towing and secure storage fee will be charged.
Broken down cars with caravans behind them will be laughed at and egged. At work

I got a very friendly chap in a D3 out who was so professional he managed not to laugh at the fact my keys were on the passenger seat with the doors locked, he even agreed it was weird how it had locked as the mirrors had not folded in! He apologised for not being there in an hour due to the traffic around the M60 at rush hour and managed to get the doors open so I was apretty happy chappy...

I suppose CG Enterprises could have pulld the door off the hinges but I preferred the LRA technique!
