United Kingdom 2015 Freelander 2 SD4 SE Auto Orkney Grey

The range meter on the trip computer is about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

Left home yesterday with about 380 mile range, travelled down to Stourhead and back (about 120miles) and had a range of 402 miles showing at the end of the journey.

Most of my local journey's are of short duration and involve a lot of hills (live in Cotswolds) but I too would like a trip computer similar to that in my late departed Passat.

To change subject slightly but still the trip computer....has anyone else ever looked at their average speed figure (I know, why would you?!) but mine always seemed to show 34.1, whatever I'd done. So I reset it this morning and then did a 54 mile journey in about 62 minutes - by my reckoning that's got to be an average speed of about 50....trip computer says average speed is.......34.1 again/still!

Is this a fault? On mine or general? Anyone else? (07 reg XS diesel if that helps).
