How many tech recalls do I need to catch up on please?

Hello Forum.

I used to be regular on here when I first got my FL2 and it was very helpful! Kids and stuff have kept me away for a year but Im up for the 2nd service next month and I thought Id check in to get the latest news. The car has only done 15,000 miles but Ive enjoyed every one of them!

I have had the PTC heater recall done, the B pillar and thats it I think. Is there anything out there that I need to be asking for when I take the car in please? I know the forum knows before the local dealer does!

Also what price are people paying the south east for a second year service please? Im in Richmond in Surrey.

Good to see that you are all doing well!

Sorry to 'hijack' the topic, but I got delivery of my Freelander II yesterday. I bought it as an approved used. Should I worry about the recalls or is the work done as a standard as part of the approved used thing?

Many thanks!

Could you please provide some more details? I would appreciate it. How can I check, and is there an official list of recall work that I can check? Many thanks!

Just take the car to a LR dealer, or ring them up with the reg' number.......they'll have any o/s recall work that needs to be done showing on their database Thumbs Up I had mine checked and luckily all had been done.

I spoke to the dealer and he said all recalls have been done on the car, save the latest one that concerns the battery issue with the alarm that was released only this week. aparently if your car has not been affected by this battery issue yet, it is unlikely it will in the future.
