England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Santorini Black
Sat Nav Void

Hi all Im new to the ownership of the Freelander 2 and the forum, so be gentle!

I have just purchased my first 4 x 4, a shiny Black 2.2 TD4 GS. However I have to wait several weeks before I can collect due to the transfer of my private plate Censored .

In the mean time i am sourcing and purchasing all my wanted extras, and wondered if there was an aftermarket solution for filling the void in which the sat nav would go? I have read the post regarding the Sony Nav u etc, but wanted to know if theres anything out there other than a sat nav?

So if anyone can help, or point me in the direction of similar posts i would be greatful!

Thanks in advance Thumbs Up

there is a few threads in the maintenance section about sat nav installs

http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic2585.html

the above been one that is quite indepth.

there is also a few tom tom/garmin/sony satnavs that are just the right size to pop virtually straight in

And welcome to the forum, feel free to ask away Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

If you've got the satnav covered the only otherthing I can think of which is more use than an egg is a screen for a reversing camera
