United Kingdom 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Sumatra Black
Help, Sat Nav and Bugs

I have now had my Freelander 2 for a few months, and it’s still putting a grin on my face when I jump in and drive it. There are just a couple of things that I need some help / info on.

1. Sat Nav, what’s the best way to remove those horrible greasy finger prints that build up over time

2. Bugs, what’s the best way of cleaning the dead bugs of the front windscreen and front bumper, seems I became a mass murderer, on my recent trip down to Newmarket and back the other day. I have never known a car to catch as many bugs as my Freelander 2 , I could here them pining against the window all the way they and back home, washers just seemed to make it worse by smearing the windscreen

Apologies if this has already been covered.

Thanks
Tony

If the screen is anything like a touch screen phone, I've used one of the cleaning clothes you get with glasses. works really well.

For bugs, I'm sure there's lots out there, but I use Auto Glym Fast Glass, for the windscreen. Haven't bothered with the front, but I'd try either this, or get some of the specific bug & tar remover.

Hope this helps, and glad to hear you're still enjoying, I'm 2 1/2 years in, and still loving it.

Rich
