2007 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Stornoway Grey
Aluminium Effect Facia Kit

Hi everyone

I've just been down to my local Land Rover dealer, as I'm now in a position to buy a freelander. The only thing is that I can only stretch to the GS model. We both like the GS, and feel we get quite a bit of kit, and would get on with this model.

The only thing is that we both feel that the all black dash needs something to break it up, only you can't get the pixel metalic effect finisher for this model. I was given the latest accesories brochure as it includes a dealer fit option, which is the "Aluminium Effect Facia Kit", which looks like a stick on dash trim. My question is, finaly after my rambling, has anyone seen this kit on a car, or have it themselves? From the brochure it's hard to tell if it looks like it is stuck on, or if it looks like a proper piece of trim. The dealer has offered me this for free, but I might ask him to get it, but not fit it straight away, so I can see what it looks like, as I'm worried that the stereo side bits may look a bit like its stuck on.

Any pictures would be great.

Thanks

Rich

The problem with that one, is that I just want the silver strip that runs across the middle of the dash, which is the one bit this kit doesn't supply.

I did get excited when I looked at this, because it wouldn't cost too much, although I don't think I would use all the pieces, that would be a little too much.

PT or anyone,

Do you know which kit color is closest to the wood trim option that comes standard with the car. The kit is not too expensive and I would like to add a couple more wood accents to mine if I could get a good match.

Thanks in advance,

Lindsay

Aluminium Trim

We have ordered this trim kit, and have been advised by Landrover Uk, that it does include the stip along the middle (across the opt of the glove box etc), but he cost of the kit is £300.

We just have to wait until August until we get the car!
