Tata have shown great commitment to Landrover/Jaguar with no help from the British government and they should be allowed to streamline their operations.

I get the impression that like most things the union will fight any change even though it is in the best interest of the company and the workers !!

I was at the Solihull plant just two days ago, and they say it is unlikely the Solihull plant will close, I was told that as the new baby Range Rover will be built at Halewood along side the Freelander 2 after the X-Type finishes, and the Defender production is heading for India.

There will be enough capacity at solihull to build the XF, XJ and XK along side the RR, RRS and Disco 4. Freelander 2 HSE Lux 2013MY - Barolo Black with Ivory Leather. Alpine DVD - Privacy -Evoque 20" Dynamic Wheels and more to come.........

Tata signed off future jags. We will build fl2 then fl3. Lrx is go. 7st fl2. The new jag xe and xk. Solihull gets xf and xj. Future jlr production staying in uk. Live your life be free-lander
