Aluminium fascia trim fitting

Reference the slightly confusing fitting instructions, can anyone advise if the sachets of surface prep' stuff are needed for the aluminium effect kit? It has been supplied with two sizes of these wipes which it seems are suggested for certain parts of the kit.....the strips themselves are really thin so was wondering if these prep' wipes were used primarily for the wood kit Confused , which I assume is heavier/thicker. 'Tis a little vague

if it's a prep wipe they are alcahol wipes to rub down the surface of the dash before sticking down, to get rid of any grease or cleaning products. Thumbs Up

Thanks, The instuc's seem to suggest using one type of wipe for certain parts but anyhow, after having all but the radio surround ones in situ today, (without actually sticking them down), i've realised I don't like them to much Rolling Eyes I think I prefer the more sombre black so if anyone's interested i'll put them up in the for sale section. Thumbs Up
