Positive post

As many of the posts on this web site concern problems with FL2’s I thought I would give a positive one.

I am trading in my FL2 and buying a similar age Range Rover Sport and this is a summary of my ownership of the FL2.

Owned 11.5 months covering 12,800 miles.

During ownership:

Car collected, fully valeted and returned to carry out recall, something to do with cold pre-heater. Cost zero

Two plastic wheel hub inserts pinched, about a month apart one from hotel in Wales one from airport parking, why is a mystery. Cost about £10

Windscreen replaced due to chip in front of driver. Cost £75 insurance excess.

Part exchange trade-in £725 less than purchase price, both from main LR dealers and purchase price included £205 road tax and £105 personal plate change. Actual loss due to depreciation £415.

According to FL2 computer over ownership averaged 31.6 mpg and 37.5 mph, much on small country roads with occasional long journey including motorway.

No other problems, car was comfy and enjoyable to drive throughout
