The manual is for sure up to date on Topix website and won't change.
So buy a subscription for a day (6 GBP) and save to disk all the webpages...
I know, you need patience... Laughing
But you won't find it cheaper than that, for a 20-30K GBP car...
Or wait some years for the workshop manual to appear on the net as in the case of your Golf... Laughing
As for the bulletins, indeed, from time to time you will need to pay if you want to be up to date with them.
But the workshop manual, the item that you seek, won't change for sure and is one time pay.
