my fl2 is now 26 months old and covered 22000 miles but in the morning its going to the dealers for its first ever warranty issue (a high pitched sqeak from the front suspension when hitting speed bumps or pot holes)

am i the only one who is not on first name terms with all the staff at there dealers  2007 fl2 narvik black ,chrome mirrors,side steps,tinted windows,20" kahn wheels,6000k xenon conversion,black leather,garmin nuvi satnav,silver vision indicator bulbs,clear side repeaters.

It seems that UK models have many more problems than the Scandinavian ones - we seem to have 100% free of problem FL2's

except that the other day................
oh well not worth mentioning realy 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

My only failure requiring LR Assist happened with 300 miles on the clock.

Does that make mine the worst = best of the worst = the best  58 HSE, auto, lago grey, tints. Mine and my dogs Storm and Sky

Hi Brian,yes i think you are one of only a very few to be so lucky.my car is now 15 months old with 17,000 miles on her and yesterday for the first time i heard a high pitched squeek when driving over a speed bump but was not suer where the sound came from.
It would be great if you could keep us informed when you find out what has been causing the problem

It sounds pretty good however... I can beat that as apart from a minor issue which turned out to be turbo whistle and the dealer service (which seems to be resolved) mine has been fault free for it's 33000 miles... so as it's also black can I claim the prize??!! SHINY BLACK BEAUTY - FL2GS AUTO WITH A FEW OPTIONS...AFTERMARKET (SO FULL!!)
