Dear fellow FL2 lovers.

Well after 2 1/2 years of FL2 owvership, first a Silver XS and then a Grey SE (all blinged up) I am crossing over to the darker side of Land Rover. Just bought myself as a 40th Birthday present a Range Rover Sport HSE on an 09 plate.

Thanks to everyone for all the threads, tips, help etc etc and thanks to Martin for giving Birth to Freel2.com.


I have a few bits and bobs to sell off if anyone is intersted

1) That grey cover which surrounds the front toeing eye

2) The black wire mesh which sits under the front grill (handy if you drive over a chicken and break yours)

3) Brand new Fuel filler cap

4) 1 x 19inch Shadown Chrome Wheel (I bought 5 so this has sat in the booty unsued. Will be sending car back with original spare)

5) Orininal black door handles - Handy if you have damaged yours!

they only do Range Rover Sport HSE's in black (at least thats the way it looks out and about as they are all that colour!)

Well yes and no. Yes if you look at it quickly and from the right angle, No if you get up close and personal. Sorry about the typo!. Not sure if the sued wheel is worse or keeping it in my booty!

Looks helicopter grey to me - almost Stornoway in fact  2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

CG, I think everyone must be referring the the wonderful, dark nee black RRS behind the man with the pink shirt! That means its official Black is best (or in my case, almost black!)
