Does such Vandalism to 4x4 happen more often in UK?

It's the first time I saw something like this. I know in Germany there are students who do put stickers against 4x4 on 4x4. But such a mess is unbelievable! I don't know how I would react if something like that happened to my Freelander 2.

I don't think it's a everyday thing, but I recon a few 4x4 will get keyed or the owner shouted at by tree huggers each day due to all 4x4 having a bad rep
