Has anyone successfully managed to pair a HTC touch Cruise or HTC Touch HD phone with the factory fitted blue tooth hands free system? We are having a bit of a mare. It recognisesthe phone and we can scroll phone book, but cannot pick up or make calls. HELP! |

As I have said on another thread I have an HTC Diamond 2 and mine connects perfectly and all functionality works.......can't see what the problem is at all?

Thanks for the site, but connecting the phone is not the problem. The phone has bluetoothed succesfully (after typing in the pin that is given by the head unit the first time of pairing). We can make calls dialing from both the phone and the head unit no problem. We can also navigate the phone book from the head unit no problem. When an incoming call is recieved, we can pick the call up without issue. The ONLY issue is that conversation is not played through the head units speakers, only the phones ear peice. The mic appears to be working as the other person can hear us fine. The phone has been set as a handsfree and set as the default car kit. We have also tried a bog standard, out the box htc touch today, same issue. Therefore one can assume that it is not any of the phones and must either be a reg setting/bluetooth setting in the phone we do not know about, or there is a problem with the bluetooth module in the head unit. What settings did you apply with ur TP2? anything unusual or did you just do via the normal bluetooth pairing method? It should also be noted that the phone auto connects when entering the vehicle just fine. It does however drop the bluetooth connection sometimes sporadically. Any further suggestions? |

I am sure you have looked on the LR site but if you haven't LR are NOT recommending the HTC Touch HD as its quote "Bluetooth communication between the handset and vehicle system is slow".
