Try lowering the window fully down then with a damp rag, wrapped round your finger clean out the seals, watch how much grit and filth comes off them and the window will move a lot easier a quieter. |

Could be worse. When driving on corrugated roads in outback Australia. If you have the window open a bit to get all the flies out of the car, then you have to close the window due to on coming traffic which creates about a minute & a few hundred metres of zero visibility. When you press the button to close the window/s, due to the corrugated road, the window fully open! ![]() ![]() ![]() Luckily here the wind was in our favour, & there was wind. When there is no wind the dust sits in the air forever. You can be 5km behind another car & the dust is still too much. ![]() You just can't win! As my car lives partly under trees I suffer from Green Slime and Moss growing in all the 'out of sight' places. I have tried the Toothbrush with Jeyes Fluid, Weed Killer, Dettol and Plain Carwash, but it just keeps reappearing. I would be very pleased if someone can come up a long term solution. I use a 69p denture brush from Home Bargains it’s very tough bristles and does a really good job. |

I use a bleach solution, spray it on with a spray bottle, let it sit for a while then jetwash - works for me & I've never had anything bad from the bleach! 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic
