Australia 2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Fuji White
Infotainment unit pass word

I recently purchased a Freelander 2, 2013 HSE
I wanted to upgrade the maps in the GPS as they were not current
I pulled the unit out to look for a place to connect to the computer or USB.
I put the unit back after finding no point to add upgrade maps and now the touch screen does not work.
My first concern is to get the screen to work again.
I have looked extensively for an answer and contacted a dealer but the dealer had no idea. I found a thread telling me it requires a scan tool to put the car VIN number in the unit.
This unit uses MOST for the speaker system.

See below;
Freelander 2 Radio Code?
quite an old enquiry.? Unfortunately, the freelander 2 infotainment unit is coded to the vin of the car. Only an OBD scanner with coding ability e.g JLR SSD software - (but may be others), can recode a replacement using the users freelander 2 vin number.
