I realise this is an old thread, but my “new” 59 plate GS has neither fog light working. Bulbs are good, fuse is good. I’ve tried with the headlights on various settings but no joy. Green light on dash is lit when front fogs switched on. Rear fogs work ok. Any suggestions? |

Connections at the switch/lamp(s) or a break in the wiring? No Longer the owner of a 2013MY Fuji White GS

Thanks. If my understanding is correct, since the dash light is working, if it was a wiring fault it would need to be after the relay and before the common wire splits to left and right. That makes me wonder if it might be the relay itself.

Fog light relay is R130 and fuse FS13 in the passenger fuse box, there is a complete wiring diagram in the technical section which should help fault finding.

Thanks, Seagull. Apologies, being new here, I had overlooked the wiring diagramme “sticky”.

Navyman, I never did get my front fogs to work! I had the car for six years and this one just never made it far enough up my priority list to sort. I'm pretty sure it was the relay, but I never took the time to locate the relay and swap it out for a known working one. I can't recall now whether both front and rears are on the same relay, but the wiring diagrams are available as a sticky so, in your shoes I would start by looking at these (assuming you have done the basics of checking bulbs and fuses). 2005 D3 2.7 Auto

checked fuse seems ok, (but put a new one in anyway). can't find the relay? where is it in relation to the fuse? will put a new one in if I can find it.
