It'll only work if you already have carplay in the car and converts wired carplay to wireless. It is a good price though compared to others.

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

No, the car entertainment system has to have CarPlay installed already. This unit just saves you having to connect a usb to lightning/C cable to the iPhone. Newer cars have had CarPlay over Bluetooth for a while which is what this unit emulates.

Thanks for that, so basically it’s pointless for me as Freelander II doesn’t have CarPlay. I get it now 👍
