Hi, does anyone know how to disarm and reset the immobiliser on a Freelander 2 2008? Thanks!

Not easy to get round the immobiliser, as there isn't an actual immobiliser as such. The start authentication is handled by several modules, including the key dock, ECM, BCM, and ABS module, the latter can't be reprogrammed.

What's the issue? Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone.
2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. Gone.
Audi A5 convertible, my daily driver.
1972 Hillman Avenger GT, the project.

Immobiliser light was on 24/7, even with ignition on (someone said this means the immobiliser has kicked in) car won’t crank

Now the immobiliser light goes off when the car is unlocked as before we had this issue, the immobiliser light would go off on ignition
