Which diagnostic device can do an air path calibration?

As per the title.
My Autel AP200 doesn't have this function.
I'm needing a new Egr valve and have it booked into an indy who can't take it until 11th February. Just thinking it might be cheaper doing it myself, including the cost of buying new bit of diagnostic kit?[/code] Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I need to do a test on mine tomorrow with the AP200 will have a look, I think an airpath reset can be done with the AP200

Had the same issue a few weeks ago. Reduced performance and EML light, same codes. Sprayed 1/4 can of Lucas EGR and turbo cleaner through intake then took it for a run, EML off but reduced perfomance still intermittant. Next day put rest of 500ml can through, took it for a run, reduced performance still off an on. Next day no warning lights or fault codes. Two weeks and about 500 miles later still all fine. Worth £9 if you haven't already tried if before you go to all that grief.

Is this of use
I thought I saw this on my AP200 some time ago, rechecked just now

The EGR resetting on the AP200 is a hidden function.

Open Service, Throttle Valve

Open Throttle Valve resetting function, follow it through.

At the end a new box pops up about the resetting of the EGR Re Initialise function, follow that through.

Good info on this page today thanks…….

Having bought my Autel AP 200 last August after good reports on this forum I used it quite a bit to diagnose stuttering / restricted power as per my posts……..very pleased with it.
Saw Bobupndown’s post saying it can’t do EGR recal. I thought ‘pity it can’t do that’ ….hoping not to need this capability but I read this afternoon I Like Chips…….It CAN do this…….great…..saved you some money Bob……!
Good shout from Davidspect……have put à can of Lucas (not électrics) EGR in my Save box on AMZ just in case…….!
Autel AP200 ….a great bit of kit for the money…… FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current

Interesting.....
I contacted Autel's customer service department by email and they told me that it couldn't do it!
Will have a play with it.
Blasted a can of Wurth EGR cleaner through it today, might try a reset with my Autel if I can find the function, see if it makes any difference. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Coincidentally I'd been given a can of Wurth egr cleaner some time ago which was sitting on a shelf in the garage. I put that through it yesterday. Reduced performance message currently off, will see how it goes but I anticipate it would only be a temporary fix and the issue is likely to come back. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
