United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e XS Manual Galway Green

Hi, yes seat swapping is possible. I've changed the original half-leather seats in my 2009 XS to the full leather ones from a 2012 HSE with memory on the drivers seat. Front seats are simply held in by 4 chunky bolts and the seats should come with a socket connector which controls the electrical elements (power for moving & heating etc & airbag/SRS) - simply unplug the old ones and plug in the new ones.

Rear seats also very easy to switch - I vaguelly recall them having bolts in the footwell.

Things get a lot more complicated if the belt sockets are damaged in any way or if the SRS has been fired on one of the front belt sockets so make sure the replacements you're buying are complete and not from a wreck.
