How to check the age of an EXIDE battery

Hi

As the title suggests can any date a Exide battery that is on my recently purchased Freelander 2

It is an Exide EB802 with an etched number of 7G0 3Z1, many thanks for any advice

So if this is true, your battery was made in 2007, which I doubt.
