Aircon gas leak

Hi all. My FL2 has had 3 aircon regases this year. Aircon has stopped working again. The mechanic can't seem to find a leak. 38 degrees here today. Does anyone have a similar experience? Cheers

Hi Mr Chips. My mechanic is a Land Rover specialist and apparently has all the air con gear, He is as stumped as I am.

We need more info to diagnose this.
Is the gas actually leaking out, so that when it’s regassed the system works normally again?
Usually the oil has a dye in it which can be checked for leaks using a UV light. If he has done this & can’t find a leak, then it is more than likely the evaporator that is leaking, which from memory will entail dash removal, so as to access & strip the HVAC unit.
As I said we need more detailed info to be able to advise. (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

Aircon worked normally for about 1 month after regas. There is no smell inside the car. Not sure about the die showing. Cheers
