Yes. I wanted to make sure it was the same colour (5500k in my case).

Now I’ve just purchased a bulb the light has started working. That’s my weekend cleaning connectors, looking for loose connections or broken wires. I just hope it’s not the ballast overheating. Its currently inside the headlight unit so doesn’t get much ventilation. |

I had a Stealth HID intermittently not working (from startup, so not overheating) and it proved to be the ballast. Easy way to tell is to swap the bulbs side to side whilst leaving the ballasts where they are, then if it happens again the side which is out will show you where the problem is. |

What HB3 bulb did you purchase as there seem to be two types on HID4U website? One has wires fitted, the other is without wires. It looks like there are two upgrade kits, one Stealth, the other Stealth-X which has the higher light output. My MY15 FL2 had the original Stealth kit fitted by the previous owner and I started to look for a spare bulb to carry but it’s been out of stock on HIDS4U for several month. I am now considering buying the Stealth-X kit for use as spares knowing they have to be changed In pairs. Nigel |

I purchased the Hb3 stealth-x as it matched the temperature colour of my original, 5500k. |

I had a ballast unit fail on one of my ABD conversions, you can buy replacement ballast unit on its own from ABD. Easy to check by swapping a lamp from the good side, if the good lamp doesn't work then you know the ballast unit has failed. |
