Stealth HB3 Xenon kit bulb question

I fitted a xenon upgrade kit (stealth from hids4u) last year. On the way to work today I noticed when I was sat in traffic that one of my headlights was out (reflection from the nicely polished car in front). I know nothing about xenon bulbs or what lifespan they have. I have ordered a replacement bulb as they are only £9 and it’s a good place to start. I haven’t had a chance to fault find yet but has anyone had any issues with the kit or is there a list of common faults? I can’t find much as I believe they are fairly bullet proof. Hopefully it’s just the bulb (probably not helped by hitting a deer the other week… again).

Mine have been fine since installed 3.5 years ago.

Did you get the replacement bulb from HIDS4U ? Jules

Yes. I wanted to make sure it was the same colour (5500k in my case).

Thanks for the replies. Just looks like I was unlucky. If this one blows then I’ll take a look at the ballast. Still, it’s far better than the halogens!
