Belgium: "Above the Clouds" in "my Landrover

In the "my Landrover Magazine" issue no. 5 from July 2009 you can find the article "Boven de Wolken" (in English: "Above the Clouds").
It is a travel story of my trip in the Italian Alps last year. The pictures have already been posted on this forum last year and can still be seen in my gallery (Italian Alps).

Here's the title page of the article:

Thumbs Up

I see you were there with a caravan (now Chicken George will give you a thumbs down Laughing )
how well did the Freelander do with all these up and downs?
On one picture the caravan looks flat and broad or is that just the picture resolution?

Thx

Absolutely brilliant ! The best car I've ever had to pull a caravan. (of course if it's an automatic).

The picture with the 3m. wide caravan was photoshopped. The other day there was a topic about the advantages of caravans and I used this photo to explain that a caravan was also very usefull to keep chicken farmers behind. Rolling with laughter

ps: Watch the numberplate...

(btw, I appreciated your Thumbs Up CG !)

Seems like a great trip to make, when I do it I shall have more fun though as I shall be free of the dead weight of a caravan, Anyone who is is more of a hurry than me will be easily able to overtake, doctors, police, fire ambulance and farmers etc, also people with less important jobs too Laughing At work

So was I: I left it behind on a campsite Mr. Green

And that's the biggest advantage of a caravan in comparison with a camper.

(didn't see many of those on that track Whistle )

Narrow caravan type, specially designed for people who in all circumstances want to give VIP the opportunity to overtake:
