Hi Guys drivers side of my bonnet will not close all the way, lubed everything down with WD40 & Penetrating oil but one side does not appear to clip in (just so happens to be the side with the bonnet open switch so cannot lock the car, anyone else seen this?

Probably come loose or something stuck in it, remove headlight and check if the bolts holding it in place are tight ? you can bypass the switch so enabling to lock the vehicle, 2013 FL2 XS.

sorry how can i bypass the open bonnet message i don't seem to see like a hall effect sensor along the drivers side

Might need to adjust the catch loosen the bolts and move catch up.
