On the way home last night through a fast but windy lane, with my windows and sunroof open , I could hear a harsh rattling noise every time I went over a bump or uneven tarmac akin to the noise the heat shields make when they start to detach.
In further inspection today, I have found nothing untoward. However, I banged on the engine undertray and it rattles like a , as if there are stones on top of it. So, off it came only to find everything as normal. The heat pad still intact etc. On reinstalling it, tapping it made it rattle like a again.
Anyone have any ideas on how to cure this ? It's like the bolts are loose but they're tight.
