Oil not showing on dipstick

Last time I changed the oil I could only just make out the the mark on the dipstick.
Today I changed the oil again and it hasnt registered at all on the dipstick.
I know I put the correct amount in as the oil comes in a 6 litre package.
Made sure there wasnt any drips coming out of the filter or drain plug and took it for a quick trip around the block and parked it up. Left for about an hour and rechecked dipstick....still nothing.
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.
Am going to check it again in the morning and see if there's anything on the dipstick.
Motor sounded fine, no unusual noises.

Its probably too clean to be seen? pull the dip stick wipe it then pull it again and rest it on a tissue you should then be able to see it, dont take long for oil to go black in a diesel though I flush mine every oil change it then takes a lot longer to go black. If you put 6 litres of oil in and there are no leaks there is no where else for it to go than in the sump. 2013 FL2 XS.

Maybe do the oil level test then dust the dipstick lightly with flour and blow off excess

I use a product called FTC Decarbonizer with CleanPower injector cleaner(costeffective.com.au) every 2nd or 3rd fill up. Am wondering if there've cleaned the engine up so its as if its come straight off the showroom floor. Thats what it says on the product---it cleans the engine via the fuel not the normal way re oil additives.
Anyway I'll check it when the suns comes up later and see what the dipstick says.
cheers
