I don't think I would put seafoam into the power steering system, I've done it with engines but never PS....how do you get it all out unless you do a full flush. Do you think you have a blocked channel/ pathway? |

The reservoir has a filter built in, this filter is not serviceable and in time blocks. Once the filter blocks the oil pump is starved and eats itself, shedding metal fragments into the system. These metal fragments damage the steering rack, the ones that get returned to the reservoir block the filter even further escalating the damage.
