Mysterious seat height adjustment

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same as me. Since getting my FL2 GS (the one without the auto seat height adjustment) a year ago, I've had to move the seat height up a notch every hour or two of driving. Two dealers have told me there's nothing wrong with the seat mechanism. I'm not really that heavy for my height, it could be that maybe I'm slipping back in the seat and it lacks enough support or that there is a fault with the height adjustment.

Has anyone else experienced the same phenomenon or do i just need to go on a diet?

common fault, search for threads on here, I think some people got new seat bases but they are little better. My seat is electric so I can go to the pub for Yorkshire puddings as often as I want Very Happy

My seat has dropped since the day I got the car in March 09. It has been back to the dealers three times and had a new seat base fitted. It was in on Monday and they said that LR Tech had requested that they took a picture of me in the car seat at the position I usually had it set, cannot see how this will help them. Any way I have had enough and have complained to Customer Services saying that the car is not fit for purpose if they cannot fix the problem. It is obviously a national problem as the technician admitted there was a problem with frl 2 's and Disco's seat bases but LR are not able to solve it I also asked Customer Services if they were going to do a recall they were non committall
This is spoiling what was a really fine motor especially the way LR are handling the issue
