it could be the slave cylinder on its way out and the noise could be the pressure plate not releasing completely and rubbing when you change gear.? |

what happens when you depress the clutch when stationary in neutral ? Any odd change in sound or vibrations? Jules |

Sorry for not responding, got a lot on my plate, but the clutch is still soft. It COULD be pressure plate, but there are no weird sounds when in stationary and slowly engaging clutch or disengaging. The sound is not always there, but it happens sometimes when changing from 1st to second gear. Clutch bite point is high, fluid is not dropping, so i have decided that I will just keep on driving the car as it is. If something fails, I will update this thread. |
