Is the "Coopers" brand of fuel filter any good for the late 2.2 diesel.
Cant seem to find anything about them on the net.

Buy genuine, not worth the risk for the saving of a few pounds, been down that route and ended up on the hard shoulder so to speak!

I've used Coopers Fiamm with no issues. I seem to recall they're marked Purflux I.e. the recommended manufacturer. The ones I have used were like this one :

The problem is that some cheap fuel filters although look identical but are in fact missing internal parts, which can cause issues for the FL2.

Best to go OEM, genuine or purflux. Jules

I bought a Britpart filter kit for my last service as it was advertised as having a Coopers (Purflux) fuel filter which are oem. It arrived with an unbranded one in a plain box. Didn't fit it. Will buy a fuel filter separately. I'd happily fit the Coopers filter. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Coopers, Febi, Purflux are all made by sogefi,
although I've alway gone for Purfux, Autodoc do a good range
and are now a lot quicker with their deliveries. DAVE.

My last Coopers boxed filter has Purflux on the top, which is the same as the LR boxed filter. So Coopers is the same filter as the LR filter. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Purflux are the filters fitted by PSA both oil and fuel. Other PSA engines are the same including BMW/PSA.

LR branded (box) containing a Purflux filter is around £50. Coopers (box) containing a Purflux filter is around £30. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

I can now also confirm that Bosch branded fuel filters are also made by Purflux as I found out when I took the sticker off my old filter.
