Not a major problem, more an annoyance really....when moving the gearstick across to select 1st gear there is a rubbery 'creak' from within. Is it an easy fix to get to the linkage and grease up if so, reccommend me the right stuff if you will......

Thanks CG, mucho appreciated.....I guess if it's an hour 'while you wait' fix i'll get the dealers to have a look see then. It is slightly stiff from first to second too, definately linkage not gearbox, I imagine that'll sort that too. I have to say i'll take it in with a hint of trepidation, and with hope that I might recieve good service, you never know.
