I'm looking to buy some Milenco Grand Aeros but not sure which type to get, flat or convex.

Convex. Common sense isn't very common.

Flat Mirrors give the most realistic view to best judge position and distance, and as the drivers mirror is close (window mounted) it is relatively easy to move your head/eye position to increase field of view.

I've been using them for years now, Fit the Freelander perfectly. They fit the mirrors well and vibration is almost non existent, when fitted they still allow the original mirror adjustment and the mirrors can still fold with them fitted. I use the flat type, I did buy the optional wedge type pads for the clamps but found i didn't need they. Hope that helps 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep 2013 SD4 HSE The posh one for towing the caravan 1973 Triumph Stag I bought in 2009 and restored. |
