I have a strange matter with this error code popped up on the OBD, P0483 - Engine coolant blower motor, rationality check - malfunction. Probably it's there for some time. I had not noticed any strange potential simptoms, except the following:
-maybe last summer when very hot, a loss of power would occur on long drives
-maybe the fan would stay on more minutes than before, after shutting the engine off (but in the end it stops)
-in winter or colder days when running downhill a long descent (without acceleration) the temp indicator would drop for minutes until acceleration is again on
Due to this recorded error related to the fan, I suspect that it won't be the thermostat playing around, but the fan system ot its control module.
Has anyone been through this?
I read some topics but their issues looked different, with the fan not working at all, mine works!
