Sorry for the new post, but new on here and haven't found anything to cover this issue... yet!

Freelander 2.2 TD4 2013 manual.

I've had the 'Gearbox fault- Reduced traction' warning light up, intermittently. The Traction control light flashed on when cornering, especially on roundabouts. Brakes grabbing.

My local independent LR garage has had a look, initially pointed to Haldex & pump. Unit was serviced and new filter fitted to the pump, but everything looked ok, but still issues.
Had the drive shaft to rear axle removed (2 wheel drive!)... still happening. Spoke to Bell Engineering and they say in can't be the Heldex with no drive shaft.

Wheels turn equal distance in straight line test... so tyres ok and new battery fitted in Sept 23.

If I turn off TC, it runs ok.

Basic diagnostics come up with ' Communication error' on traction control? Getting full diagnostics done to try to find the fault.

Anyone been here before? Ideas?

Is it as simple as the cable to the Haldex has worn through where it rubs on a chassis member?
